Ravenswood Sanctuary Model Boat Club Invited us to join them at this event and the following is a copy from their Facebook Page.

A small group of dedicated members gave freely of their time to set up a display of boats, chat with the public, hand out information leaflets and finally put boats on the water for some high spirited demonstration laps on the lake.
We hope from tonight's display some new members may evolve.
Thanks to all involved for your attendance, assistance with printing flyers, setting up and packing up, bringing boats to display and run, and promoting our club by chatting with the public.
Thanks also to the Austin Lakes Radio Sailing group for joining with us in displaying yachts, and putting several more yachts on the water for a sailing display. Yachts at left and centre of pic are sailed by members of this group.
