Austin Lakes Radio Sailing again hosted the DF65 & DF95 (Dragon Force and Dragon Flight) Radio Sailing State Championships last weekend. With a total of 27 entrants from all around Perth and several from Albany, a great weekend was had by all.

The weather was perfect with warm days and good breezes keeping the yachts moving along and sometimes making things difficult as gusts span boats around or caused them to nosedive. This did of course bring out the best, in the best of skippers, and made great viewing for spectators.

Winners in the Dragon Force 65 Class were 1st Nick Jerwood (Wanderers RSC), 2nd Andrew Donkin (Austin Lakes RC),  3rd Geoffrey Oliver (Albany RSC)

Winners in the Dragon Flight 95 Class were 1st Andrew Grist (Albany RSC), 2nd Geoffrey Oliver (Albany RSC), and 3rd Ian Sherriff (Champion Lakes RSC).
